The Santuario della Mentorella
Past chestnut and oak woods, you reach the foot of Monte Guadagnalo atop of which is the monastery, a short distance away from the famous sanctuary of the Mentorella, dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie.
One of the sanctuary's seminarist was none other than Karol Wojtila, the future pope John Paul II.
